Hey all,
I was just curious about something. My guide dog has alergies, to what, I have no idea. Anyway, I've been giving him benedrill fora while now and it worked when I was living in the city but i'm now living in the country and it has gotten worse, so do you think it could be pollin or something that he's allergic to? I'm not exactly sure about dog alergies but i Might read up on it. I guess they can be elergic to things just like us humans. So I was just curious about this and if anyone knows, drop me a line here, and if not, thanks for reading anyway.
Yeah I saw on Animal planet that some dogs have allergies. Luckily my Daisy doesn't have any. Check with your vet though. Good luck with your dog.
What are your dog's symptoms?
They can have allergies, and it can be almost anything, just like humans...common ones I can think of for dogs are corn, wheat, and soy (for food) pollen, dust, carpets, and even vaccines as well.
what schools is he from? mine is from GDB and I actually had to take him to a pet dermatologist. Now he is on injections every 2 weeks.
I'd check with your vet. My cat is alergic to chicken and beef and fish. We had his blood taken, and the vet froze it, and sent it away for analysis. We got a report showing all the stuff he's alergic to, and to what degree. Good luck, and I hope the puppy does better with the cooler weather.

I was just wondering if they can be allergic to dust mites as well. That's what I'm allergic to. Mom and Dad had to remove the carpet out of the house for me.
